WEBRip is usually captured or transcoded from a streaming playback path, so it feels more processed than WEB-DL. It can be compact and compatible, making it useful for quick viewing. The tradeoff is that fidelity may be weaker than WEB-DL, Blu-ray or Remux. When a better source exists for the same title, compare bitrate, resolution and HDR before choosing.
