Atmos is Dolby spatial audio. It is not just more channels; it places sound objects in a more three-dimensional space. Rain, aircraft, ambience and action effects can feel like they move around or above the viewer. It often appears on premium Web-DL, TrueHD tracks and Remux releases. To hear the benefit, the TV, player, soundbar, receiver or headphone chain must support Atmos.
