Blu-ray means the release is based on a Blu-ray disc or a Blu-ray-derived source. It is usually more stable than generic web captures or low-bitrate sources, but it is not always 4K or lossless. Use it as a source-quality signal, then compare 2160p, Remux, HDR and codec tags. For older titles, a Blu-ray source can still be a reliable choice.
